Keeping Beauty Skin Deep
We all have earned every line and wrinkle on our faces. But did you know that with good skin care products combined with a daily routine you can combat time and even turn back the clock? We went in search of the best skin care products for our aging skin and found Victoria Skin Tight Naturals. To explain the process and the products we had the pleasure of speaking with Kamille, wellness coach and assistant to Victoria.
Traveling the World to Find the Best Skin Care Products
Victoria has traveled the world, and she has been to a lot of spas and used a lot of products, both inexpensive and extremely expensive. She felt that some of them worked and some of them didn’t, and this drove her to create products that heal the skin because she wants her skin to look great since she spends a lot of time in front of the camera. Victoria has skin problems, so she knew if her products could heal her skin, they would work for others too. Her ingredients are research-based and proven to restore and regenerate.
Kamille first got involved with Victoria and her products in her early years when she worked in cosmetology. She also worked as a wellness coach, and eventually Victoria asked her if she would be willing to try her products personally, see if they work for her, and write about them if they did. It was the best experience! Victoria’s products are the only ones she uses, and they are working for her. If that isn’t enough, Victoria also helped her lose over 100 pounds.

Combating Skin Conditions As We Age
Q: What are the main skin conditions that occur with age?
Kamille: Due to the aging process, senior skin encounters several problems—from dryness to sagging to wrinkles. The environment can cause problems like skin cancer and dark spots (or age spots). Because I work with doctors and with our wellness program, these are the things that I see and the complaints I hear from seniors:
- Loose, sagging skin
- Dark spots
- Thin skin
- Wrinkles and fine lines
Q: Why does our skin change as we age?
Kamille: Well, there are several reasons, both internal and external:
- Sun worshiping
- Processed and GMO foods
Q: How can we reverse the damage and aging processes?
Kamille: As we age, degeneration is going on, but there are steps we can take to slow that. The first step is to hydrate. Getting enough water internally can help the skin revitalize. A lot of seniors aren’t thirsty, perhaps due to reduced activity. Having tea and coffee and orange juice is not the same. Drinking at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water, unless someone’s physician is directing them to do otherwise, is very good.
Eating fruits and vegetables—with their valuable antioxidants—is also important. They help decrease the toxins’ ability to damage our skin. Sufficient protein is another major factor in skin appearance. Protein helps to keep our muscles firm, which then impacts the degree of sagging that our skin experiences. Your skin needs protein in order to produce two things: collagen and elastin. Those two elements help to firm, plump, and revitalize the skin.
The way we live profoundly impacts the appearance of our skin.
Victoria always reminds me that skin care products can’t do all the work. We have to do our part with hydration and diet, as well as limiting alcohol, smoking, and sun damage. Here in Florida I know a lot of seniors who are very social and go out a lot. There’s dancing and music, which is great. The thing to watch is alcohol intake; alcohol can add nearly 10 years to a person’s appearance. Fun is rejuvenating, but excessive alcohol intake won’t help your skin. That said, now we can look at some helpful products.

Best Skincare Routine to Reverse Aging and Rejuvenate Skin
Kamille: I like to talk about a routine because habits are helpful. Of course, you have to give the routine and products a chance to work. It takes about 120 days for everything to be new and revitalized. That’s why, for example, your doctor recommends follow-up blood work in three to four months, because you’re going to get a totally new blood panel. It’s the same with skin care. I suggest you take a picture when you start, and another three or four months later to compare. Because when change is gradual (as it usually is!), we don’t always notice the benefits. We would love it if you would post your photos and reviews on Amazon or in the Last Third Best Third store once you’ve seen the products’ benefits.
Let’s take a detailed look at the steps involved in a great skin-care routine:
Step One: Deep Pore Refining Daily Cleanser
To deal with dry skin, you have to start with a good daily cleanser. I love Victoria’s deep pore refining daily cleanser, and it will last you at least six months. All of her products are concentrated, so you don’t need a lot, and they smell wonderful. I’ve tried other cleansers, but found them either too creamy or too drying. Victoria’s products include a lot of botanicals and antioxidant ingredients that clean your skin without stripping it.
Step Two: Professional Hyaluronic Acid Vitamin C Serum
Next you want to feed the skin with one of the highest antioxidants, which is Vitamin C. Victoria has a professional hyaluronic acid vitamin C serum. I believe this eventually eliminated a red spot on my skin (that I had had since I was age 30!), because I was religious with this every morning and night. A serum is different from a cream. It penetrates quickly, and it works at a deep level. Hyaluronic acid also helps to draw moisture to your skin.
Step 3: Collagen Peptide Regen with Snow Algae
This is the deep dive—the collagen peptide regeneration serum. This serum has what’s called snow algae, which is found in the mountain areas where it’s frigid. Researchers have found that this algae works at a cellular level. It helps repair the DNA of your skin. People spend hundreds of dollars going to dermatologists and other skin care professionals to achieve the same effects this provides. Peptides are a form of a protein that helps your skin to start building that collagen again.
Step 4: Tighten’ Up
Victoria’s most popular cream is Tighten’ Up. This comes in a jar and lasts a long time. I need half the size of a dime for my entire face. Tighten’ Up has extracts that go down to the cellular level and stop the aging process. It takes a while and depends on your cell turnover and your hydration, but it tightens the skin over time. The best way to use it is before exercising, and you can use it anywhere on your body.
People rave about this product, but it also depends on how far you are in that aging process. It was designed for crepey skin, which is very severe deep-creviced wrinkles. It will at least put the process on hold, and then we can start working on repairing it.
I never feel it on my face, either. I use it daily, and it is the last product I put on before my foundation. It helps the makeup stay, so I never have to retouch other than lipstick all day. Victoria also has a product called Firm Up, which provides very quick tightening of the skin; I recommend using it before special events. That’s what I do.
Step 5: Sculpting Face Cream with Plant Stem Cells
I use this at night. You have likely heard of human stem cells, but plants have them too. Because plants have antioxidants, they can survive in the environment without dying, and they’ve discovered that these plant stem cells can actually take on some of our cells, and it can replicate.
This product speeds up cellular turnover. When we’re younger, cells turn over every 30 days or so, giving us brand new skin cells. As we age, it takes longer and longer and longer, to the point that it takes almost three to four months before we’re getting new skin. We want something that’s going to speed that up, which is what this cream does. I use it with a derma roller. Mine doesn’t have needles; this one is more like a massage. I put it on at night after I do my evening routine. When I wake up, my skin looks younger—truly. My makeup goes on smoother, and I don’t have as many lines. When I’m consistent with it, I receive a lot of compliments on my skin—which hasn’t happened in years!
